几秒钟到几分钟不等的间歇性照明会缩短光源的使用寿命。如需以几秒至几分钟内的时间间隔执行开/关照射控制,我们建议使用快门中断真空紫外光。
对于 L12542,保证使用寿命为 2000 小时,连续照明过程中的预期使用寿命为 6000 小时或以上。但是,如果以几秒到几分钟的时间间隔间歇运行,则实际使用寿命在某些情况下可能会比保证使用寿命短。
清洁真空静电消除器氘灯的窗口时,用蘸有丙酮等挥发性溶剂的软布擦拭窗口表面,然后用干布擦拭,使窗口表面没有残留挥发性溶剂。如果窗口表面附着了污垢或污染物,则可能会在亮灯时导致光源老化(局部不透明),从而导致静电电荷去除不良(由于窗口透射率过早丧失,光输出衰减或减弱)。

对于设计为安装在真空室外的 L12542 和 L15094,除非真空室表面(真空法兰安装)的温度超过 140°C,否则可以烘烤真空室。但在烘烤过程中不要发出真空紫外光(不要打开光源)。
