在航空航天、医疗、新能源汽车等高端制造领域,金属增材制造(3D打印)技术正发挥着越来越重要的作用。它能够快速制造复杂结构的零部件,大幅缩短研发周期,并降低生产成本。然而,尽管这项技术前景广阔,但其在实际应用中仍面临诸多挑战。
目前,基于激光粉末床熔融(laser powder bed fusion, LPBF)的金属增材制造大多通过激光扫描光斑实现加工。然而,传统激光光斑的能量分布呈高斯分布,即中心能量高、边缘能量低。这种不均匀的能量分布会使熔池产生很大的温度梯度,从而容易导致加工件表面出现毛刺,同时内部产生残余应力,影响零部件的精度和使用寿命。这些问题成为制约金属增材制造技术进一步发展的瓶颈。
为了解决高斯光斑带来的问题,业界提出了光束整形的方案。目前主要采用的技术路径包括:异形镜头、微透镜阵列和DOE(衍射光学元件)。然而,这些方案存在一个共同的缺陷——光束整形不可调。在实际应用中,不同材料、不同形状的零部件需要不同的光斑形态,而现有技术无法灵活调整光斑形状,也无法通过现有理论模型模拟找到最优解。因此,光斑的可调性成为制约这些方案广泛应用的关键问题。
理论上,空间光调制器(LCOS-SLM)可以完美解决光斑可调性的问题。它能够灵活调整光斑形状,适应不同的加工需求。然而,金属增材制造在加工过程中需要对金属颗粒进行熔化,因此对激光功率的要求极高,单光束功率需要超过300 W,而传统的空间光调制器无法满足这一功率需求。因此,空间光调制器在金属增材制造领域的应用一直处于空白状态。
直到2024年,滨松公司推出了700 W高功率LCOS-SLM,成功填补了这一技术空白。这款产品不仅承受高功率激光,还能实现灵活的光束整形,为金属增材制造提供了全新的解决方案。

滨松中国资深产品技术工程师,负责滨松光子的激光加工,光源光谱技术等应用领域的一体化方案的开发与技术支持。哈尔滨工业大学电子科学与技术学士,物理电子学硕士,后于新加坡国立大学获得博士学位。有10余年显微技术相关工作经验,精通多种光学系统设计与搭建,对基于SLM的光加工算法有深入研究,能熟练使用MATLAB,LABVIEW进行系统控制,算法验证与数据处理。
